PICK YOUR HAT
Choose from a curated selection of premium starter hats — dad hats, snapbacks, trucker hats, bucket hats, and more. We carry a variety of styles, colors, and fits so you can start with the right foundation.
CHOOSE YOUR PATCHES
Browse hundreds of patch designs organized by category. Detroit-inspired art, pop culture, nature, symbols, lettering, and custom shapes. Mix and match to build a layout that speaks to who you are.
ADD YOUR EXTRAS
Once your patches are selected, elevate the piece. Add rhinestones, decorative pins, heat vinyl designs, or other finishing touches. This is where a good hat becomes a great one.
WE PRESS & FINISH
Our team professionally applies everything using commercial heat-press equipment and proven finishing techniques. You walk out with a clean, durable, press-perfect hat that's built to last.
WHAT TO
EXPECT
When you arrive at the BRIM Detroit studio, you'll be greeted by one of our design guides who will walk you through the full process from start to finish.
You'll start at the hat wall, choosing your base. From there, you'll move to the patch display — an organized collection of hundreds of designs. Take your time. There's no rush.
Once your layout is set, we'll review it together, answer any questions, and get to pressing. You'll watch the process happen and leave with your finished hat in hand.

- Your ideas, inspiration, or references (a Pinterest board is always welcome)
- An open mind — some of the best hats happen when you go with the flow
- Your booking confirmation (or just your name if you're a walk-in)
- A friend, partner, or crew if you want company
